Quilter's Cupboard News from Jenny

As some of you may have heard, I am moving to the Philadelphia area. Greg has been doing consulting work in Pennsylvania for the last 8 months. He was recently offered a full time position. After much thought and consideration, we’ve decided that it is best for our family to accept the job. But don’t worry, Quilter’s Cupboard and Knitting Next Door will remain the quilting and knitting stores you love.

I will continue to be involved with both stores, and Cindy Peters, the current manager of Quilters Cupboard will be buying into the business and keep both stores growing and servicing the quilters and knitters of Central Iowa.

We continue to work on improving both stores. We are adding a few more Baby Lock models so we have a more complete line to better match your machine wants and needs. At Knitting Next Door (our new yarn shop), we have started adding new spring yarns. We are also working on expanding the number of classes offered at both stores.

While I am both excited and anxious about the move to Pennsylvania, I will miss the day to day operations. I intend to be very involved with the future direction of the stores. I am confident that Cindy and I share a similar vision for both stores, and I know our customers are going to continue to love the direction we are headed.

Knitting Next Door

QUILTER’S CUPBOARD IS EXPANDING TO KNITTING NEXT DOOR
We’re excited to announce the opening of our new yarn store – Knitting Next Door, located (you guessed it) just next door. We’re renting a portion of Hykes’ Gallery for our expansion which we hope will open in time for Customer Appreciation Days in August. If you knit or crochet, spread the word and if you’d like to work in the new store or teach classes, talk to Jenny or Cindy.

Fabric by the Yard

Pass it on...the Quilter's Cupboard Website now has fabric by the yard! We will be adding new lines as they arrive and additional lines that we have in stock at the store as time goes on. Minimum cut is just 1/4 yard.
